A BJT is said to be biased when required dc voltage & currents corresponding to a selected Q- pointon the output characteristics applied at the terminals.
The arrangement of establishing desired dc voltages and current at the terminals of a BJT using the power supply and resistors is called Biasing technique.
Active region:- It is the region where the collector current (IC) remains almost constant with increase in VcE.
In this region collector current is linearly proportional to IB.
Saturation region – Area between Vcemin and Y-axis.Here, the IC rises very rapidly with small increase in VCE
